Forgot to put pictures up earlier of our short little trip to Vegas... Unfortunately we looked drunk in any pictures we took together.

Viva Las Vegas!

This weekend Chris and I went to Las Vegas for our anniversary. Chris has never been and I have not been in several years. While we had a lot of fun and it was a great excuse to be in the sunshine and warmth and leave Provo, I have to say I think it is totally overrated. Vegas is kind of like a crappy Disneyworld, with lots more half naked women. I am not really sure what the love of Vegas is all about. People are rude, it's dirty, creepy men try to hand you porn all day, AND all the casinos look exactly the same on the inside. Plus, when you are Mormon there is NOTHING to do. How long can you walk around looking at Casinos before you say...."ya that was fun". I am sorry to those who worship at the alter of "Vegas", but I am pretty sure it's a once is more than enough kind of place for the Stockdale's. Plus I am pretty sure the real Europe will be cooler (although Chris swears it smells worse and is dirtier) than the fake Europe Vegas tried to create. After the gambling, booze, hookers, and other great activities I am pretty sure it costs about the same.

 

I think I will Viva las Disney instead!
